When you do not have an issue to explore, you can just talk about things that are important to you, without actually discussing the topic of the essay.The best thing about no topic strategies is that they don't require you to spell out what you do n ot like about the topic. Your main purpose is to avoid doing anything that the teacher can point out to you later as being unimportant to the lesson. In short, a no topic strategy is just a way to get by without doing anything important for the essay. In fact, you may be able to write the whole thing on one of your own notes. The problem with this strategy is that it does nothing to make the essay lively.An agree and disagree strategy requires you to write a longer essay. The difference between a no topic strategy and an agree and disagree strategy are that you must come up with reasons for agreeing or disagreeing with the idea in the essay. You will have to make a strong case for how this idea is relevant to the class.To use an agree and disagree strategy, you have to show both the teacher and yourself that this idea is not insignificant to the topic. In other words, you have to be able to make your case in a way that makes the student see how the topic needs to be understood in or der to reach the goal you want to achieve with the essay. If you cannot make that case, you have to admit that your goal is in vain and move on to the next idea.Both no topic and agree and disagree essay topics involve coming up with topics that are unimportant to the lesson. The problem with this strategy is that it is very difficult to come up with ideas that are unimportant to the assignment. You may even have to give up and rewrite the entire essay, or you may have to spend a lot of time learning about writing essays before you find something better.By contrast, you may want to write an essay about an idea that is relevant to the assignment and a topic that are worth exploring further. The key is to focus on coming up with interesting topics and ideas. This takes a lot of practice and is not easy. It is also worth trying different techniques until you get good at this.Sometimes you will need to set aside a few minutes for the entire process. While you may have to read through th e essay several times and write the essay several times, it will save you lots of time when you focus on coming up with ideas instead of coming up with topics. This is just a matter of experience.
